Hello again and welcome to the Shocker Internet Drive In's 50th presentation!
Who would have thought that we would make it this long, much less maintain interest, but if it wasn't for you, our loyal patrons, our monthly little tributes to the long lost drive in would be nothing.
So, with our helmets on and jetpacks firing, we say a warm and hearty "Thank You" to all our visitors. And, as a special surprise, we thought we would bring you something a little different. Of course we are still a drive-in and we still have the usual coming attractions, snack bar ads, and cartoon, but instead of showing a movie, we proudly bring you all 12 chapters of that great 1952 serial "Radar Men From The Moon" featuring everyone's favorite rocket-man, Commando Cody!
So, welcome back and thanks again for all your support.

What great memories. Saturday morning, 9 am Kiddie Matinee 12 cents admission and Rocket Man to cheer everyone up. Lots of pop corn throwing and drinks tipped off the balcony (look out below). Parents were not afraid to send their kids to movies alone with their friends and it was rowdy but comparatively safe. The shooting and slashing was still about 40 years in the future. Were those the days? Bet you thought they would never end.

Serial for supper
These serials combined are a little over three hours long. Each one features Cody , the Rocket-man, a fist fight, a gun fight, and like all serials, the shows leave you thinking the good guy is toast. Pretty good special effects are displayed. The video starts with coming attractions and snack bar commercials etc. What is unusual about the whole affair is the MGM cartoon. It Stereotypes Blacks, Asians, cowboys, ballet dancers, Hispanics, Hawaiians, midgets and the list goes on. Talk about un-PC.
